# Stop the assistant asking every time

> Let Claude or ChatGPT use memex without asking before each action.

Assistants ask before using a connector's tools until you allow them.

## Claude

Open **Memex** in [Connectors](https://claude.ai/customize/connectors) and choose **Always allow** for both **Read-only tools** and **Write/delete tools**.

## ChatGPT

Open **Settings → Plugins → Memex** and choose **Allow all actions**.
