> Add memex as a custom app for Spark and link your Google and memex accounts.

Page: https://docs.memex.tools/connect-gemini

memex connects to Gemini through Spark's custom apps.

> **Self-hosted memex**
>
> Gemini Spark calls memex from Google's servers over the internet, so it connects to memex.tools. See [memex.tools or self-hosted memex](https://docs.memex.tools/self-hosted).

> **A paid plan**
>
> Spark requires a paid Google AI Pro or Ultra plan.

### 1. Find Custom apps for Spark
In Gemini, open **Settings → Personal intelligence → Connected Apps** and find **Custom apps for Spark**. [Open Connected Apps](https://gemini.google.com/apps)

### 2. Add the Memex link
