# Flag a note

> Tell your curator what is wrong with a note, so the next pass starts with it.

### 1. Flag it
Open the note and press **Flag for curation**.

### 2. Say what is wrong
Say what is wrong and what you want done.

The next [maintenance pass](https://docs.memex.tools/maintenance-pass) starts with flagged notes. On **Notes**, the status menu shows them under **Flagged for curation**.
