# Make a curator

> Let one assistant save new notes and edits without waiting for your approval.

### 1. Open Assistants
In memex, open **Settings › Assistants**.

### 2. Choose a curator
Under **Choose a curator**, pick an assistant.

### 3. Make it curator
Press **Make curator**.

**Remove role** takes it back. Only you can do this, from a browser. A curator's deletes and merges still wait for you. See [Agent or curator](https://docs.memex.tools/agents-and-curators).
