memex works in a phone browser: sign in at [memex.tools](https://memex.tools) as you do on a computer.

Assistants on your phone connect like any other. See [Connect an assistant](https://docs.memex.tools/connect).

> **Self-hosted memex**
>
> A phone on your network opens it in the browser at the address you gave memex. Assistant apps on your phone call memex from their own servers, so they connect to memex.tools. See [On your network](https://docs.memex.tools/self-hosted-network).
