# Why a note waits for review

> Why what an assistant writes lands in Review Inbox, and how to let one assistant skip it.

Page: https://docs.memex.tools/why-a-note-waits

By default, what an assistant writes is a proposal. It waits in [Review Inbox](https://docs.memex.tools/review-inbox) until you approve it, so nothing an assistant got wrong becomes part of your notes without you seeing it.

You don't need to approve each save as it happens. Tell the assistant once what to keep, and decide in Review Inbox when it suits you, several at once if you like.

## Let one assistant skip it

[Make it a curator](https://docs.memex.tools/make-a-curator). Its new notes and edits apply at once. Its deletes and merges still wait for you.
